I was tagged by my dear niece Mardhiah12. I’m not in a mood to be serious (me, serious?) so here goes.
Last book read?
Marketing Management by Kottler and Keller.
(I’m a ‘mature’ student, so I can’t run away from reading text books now or can I?)
1. The Lawful and The Prohibited in Islam by Yusuf al-Qaradawi.
Concise yet comprehensive.
2. Iqra’ Cara Cepat Belajar Membaca Al-Quran by Ustaz Haji As’ad Humam
Okay I’m teaching DD Iqra’. So doesn’t it qualify to be on this list?
No favourite. I’m open minded (ehem) so I read everything and anything under the sun.
My pace has slowed down considerably though.
I had different favourites throughout the different phases of my life. From Enyd Blyton to Danielle Steele to Sydney Sheldon. Then on to John Grisham to Jeffrey Archer (really love his earlier books) to Dan Brown. Haven’t had a favourite since then.
Local name would be Usman Awang although my exposure to his writings is somewhat limited.
Favourite book - fiction?
Can I include comics? Love Calvin and Hobbes.
Favourite book - nonfiction?
It’s personal so I won’t put it here. (Don't worry it's not Kamasutra)
3 books you wish to read next?
1. Kitaabul Ibaar (Ibn Khaldun)
2. State of War: The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration (James Risen)
3. Plan of Attack (Bob Woodward)
5 people I'd like to tag:
I don’t have many readers so I’m unable to tag anyone now. Sad isn’t it? Oh come to think of it there are 2 cronies that I know of who may not have been tagged by Mardhiah12:
2. Limau nipis
